ELIGIBILITY:

He / She is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity rendering him unfit for such service;
His / Her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him/her for such service;
He /She possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the post; and
He/ She is a citizen of India.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission; or any equivalent qualification in specific subjects.

Physical Requirements:

For Men	Requirements
For Men	Height	Chest	Walking
Minimum	163 Cms.	79 Cms. (expansion of 5 cms)	25 Kms. in 4 hours
	Provided further that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, etc., the minimum standard of height shall be 152 Cms.

For Women	Requirements
For Women	Height	Chest	Walking
Minimum	150 Cms.	74 Cms. (expansion of 5 cms)	16 Kms. in 4 hours
	Provided further that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, etc., the minimum standard of height shall be 145 Cms.

Common for Men and Women: Must undergo a medical Examination and produce a health certificate.
