THDC India Limited (THDCIL), established in 1988, is a prominent public sector enterprise in the power sector. It received 'Mini Ratna' Category-I status in 2009 and was upgraded to Schedule 'A' PSU in 2010. The equity distribution is now 74.496% with NTPC Limited and 25.504% with the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
