Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of 15 Food Safety Officer positions (UR-08, SC-03, ST-04) in Group-B Gazetted under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura. Selection Process

• Duration: The written examination will be of 2 (two) hours.
• Stages: The recruitment process consists of two stages:
  • Written Examination (General Study) - 85 marks (MCQ type)
  • Interview/Personality Test - 15 marks
• Interview Eligibility:
  • Candidates will be called for the interview based on a merit list prepared from the written examination, in a ratio of 1:5 for each part.
  • Candidates scoring marks equal to the last qualified candidate in the written examination will also be called for the next stage.
  • Only those who qualify in the written examination will be called for the interview/personality test.
• Merit List:
  • In case of a tie in marks, merit will be determined by the candidate's age (seniority).
  • For candidates with the same age and marks, merit will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification.
• Interview Assessment: The interview will assess personal qualities such as intellectual ability, social traits, interest in current affairs, critical judgment, leadership ability, and moral integrity.
• Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the merit list, which will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in both the written examination and the interview. Absence from the interview will result in disqualification from the final selection.

• Online Application Portal:
  • Applications must be submitted through the Online Application Portal only. No hard copy applications will be accepted.
  • The portal will be available on the Commission's website from 14-08-2024 to 18-09-2024 (5.30 PM).
  • Applicants must register their bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's website.
