Teacher Gross Salaries Primary Teacher: Approx. Rs 38,000 (including DA, HRA, and medical allowances). Middle School Teacher: Approx. Rs 42,000. Secondary School Teacher: Rs 46,000. Higher Secondary School Teacher: Rs 48,000. Urban candidates receive slightly higher salaries due to an 8% HRA, while rural candidates receive 4% HRA. Age Limit for Teachers Minimum Age Limit: School teachers (classes 1 to 5) & SC/ ST Welfare Dept and Middle school teachers (classes 6 to 8): 18 Years Teachers of secondary (class 9 to 10), higher secondary schools (class 11 to 12) & class 6 to 10 and class 11 to 12 of SC/ ST Welfare Dept: 21 Years Maximum Age Limit: Unreserved (Male): 37 years BC/ EBC (Male & Female) and Unreserved Female: 40 years SC/ ST (Male & Female): 42 Years The age of old age retirement is fixed at 60 years.
