1. Primary Teacher:
   • Candidate should have completed Intermediate.
   • Should possess DElEd (Diploma in Elementary Education).
   • Must have cleared CTET Paper I.
2. Upper Primary Teacher:
   • Candidate must possess an Undergraduate degree.
   • Should have DElEd/BEd qualification.
   • Must have cleared Paper II.
3. Secondary Teacher:
   • Candidate should have an Undergraduate degree.
   • Should have BEd qualification.
   • Must have cleared STET Paper I.
4. Senior Secondary Teacher:
   • Candidate should hold a Postgraduate degree.
   • Should have BEd qualification.
   • Must have cleared STET Paper II.

1. Primary Teacher: Approx. Rs 38,000 (including DA, HRA, and medical allowances).
2. Middle School Teacher: Approx. Rs 42,000.
3. Secondary School Teacher: Rs 46,000.
4. Higher Secondary School Teacher: Rs 48,000.
5. Urban candidates receive slightly higher salaries due to an 8% HRA, while rural candidates receive 4% HRA.

1. Minimum Age Limit:
   • School teachers (classes 1 to 5) & SC/ ST Welfare Dept and Middle school teachers (classes 6 to 8): 18 Years
   • Teachers of secondary (class 9 to 10), higher secondary schools (class 11 to 12) & class 6 to 10 and class 11 to 12 of SC/ ST Welfare Dept: 21 Years
2. Maximum Age Limit:
   • Unreserved (Male): 37 years
   • BC/ EBC (Male & Female) and Unreserved Female: 40 years
   • SC/ ST (Male & Female): 42 Years
3. The age of old age retirement is fixed at 60 years.
