Age Criteria and Qualifications
Railtel Corporation of India Ltd has opened applications for 40 apprentices across all disciplines in the country. Eligible candidates include those with a completed diploma or a degree, in an appropriate engineering discipline. Apply by November 30, 2024. Max age: 27 years, as applicable. Selected apprentices will receive one year's training at Grad Engineers on a stipend of Rs 14,000 per month and the remaining one year's training at Diploma Engineers on a stipend of Rs. 12,000.

The candidate should also have a diploma or bachelor's degree conferred by the particular State Council or Board of Technical Education in any one of the respective engineering disciplines. So, candidates with degrees and diplomas in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Civil, and Electrical Engineering are eligible for the post. Trained candidates will be paid a stipend equivalent to the basic pay to be drawn on appointment after completing training for one year in his trade area, he further clarifies.
