- Applicants Selection: Based on 100 points
- 80 points: Marks in qualifying exam
- 20 points: Service in state government hospitals/institutions/programmes on contract/outsourced basis
- Qualifying Exam Points (80 points):
- Cumulative percentage marks of PG Degree/Super Specialty converted to a base of 80 percent
- Equivalence for grades:
- "A" Grade or "Excellent" - 60%
- "B" Grade or "Good" - 55%
- Lowest pass grade - 50%
- Service Points (20 points):
- 2.5 points per 6 months in tribal areas
- 2 points per 6 months in non-tribal areas
- Points awarded only for completed 6 months
- Service Certification:
- Points awarded based on certificates issued by competent authority (Annexure-I)
- Applicants must apply to the competent authority for experience certificates and upload them online
- Service points are awarded only after acquiring postgraduate/super specialty qualification
- Senior Residents awarded points if worked after acquiring basic qualification for Assistant Professor
- Experience certificate format: Annexures III-B & III-C
- Tie-breaking: Higher age given preference
- Merit List: Displayed on the Board’s website
