Position Details

Eligible and qualified candidates are invited to appear for a walk-in-interview for the position of Hospitality Monitor on a contractual basis under IRCTC East Zone. The contract period is for 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on requirement and satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification & Experience
  • B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration
  • BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts)
  • B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science
  • MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management)
  • Experience: 2 years in relevant field

Cut-Off Date

The cut-off date for age, qualification, experience, and other criteria is 01-07-2024.

Medical Fitness

Engagement of selected candidates is subject to a medical fitness test as prescribed by IRCTC.

Selection Process

Candidates must fill in the Application Form (attached with this advertisement) complete in all respects. The completed Application Form must be submitted at the interview venue for verification along with:

  • Original documents
  • One set of attested copies of required documents (caste, education, experience)
  • Three recent passport-size photographs

Interviews will be conducted based on candidate credentials. Selection will be based on personal interview performance, subject to verification of antecedents.

Documents Required

Candidates must carry the following documents in original at the time of the walk-in-interview. Without these, candidates will not be allowed to appear:

  • 10th class Marksheet & Certificate
  • 12th class Marksheet & Certificate
  • Graduation year-wise Marksheets & Certificate (Provisional Certificate may also be considered)
  • Post Graduation or higher academic year-wise Marksheets & Certificate
  • All Experience Certificates in chronological order

Scope of Work

  • Supervise/monitor food production, quality, and services in nominated mobile/static catering units
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standard hospitality procedures/practices
  • Ensure proper men & material for nominated mobile/static catering units
  • Resolve customer/passenger care related issues and manage complaints effectively
  • Collect feedback, analyze it, and make necessary corrections
  • Ensure implementation of statutory compliance or regulations as applicable
  • Supervise & educate staff on the efficient upkeep of equipment and devices
  • Coordinate with various departments, offices, and business partners
  • Any other responsibility assigned by IRCTC from time to time
