Allahabad High Court Research Associate Online Form 2024
The Allahabad High Court is seeking applications for the position of Research Associate on a contractual basis. This recruitment is for 31 positions, and selected candidates will receive a fixed honorarium of Rs. 25,000 per month. Qualification for the Post: Allahabad High Court Research Associate
Candidates must possess a law degree. The position is open to fresh law graduates who will complete their law degree in the current academic session 2023-24. The role is for one year, with the potential for extension based on performance, and is subject to termination at any time without notice.
Degree: Three-Year Professional or Five-Year Integrated Degree in Law from a Bar Council of India recognized institution, completed in the 2023-24 academic session.
Experience: Applicants must not have practiced as an advocate or engaged in any other profession or vocation/service.
Final Year Candidates: Those who appeared in LL.B. (Final Year) in 2024 and are awaiting results may apply.
Marks: A minimum of 55% marks in LL.B. examination is required.
Computer Skills: Candidates must have working knowledge of computer applications including data entry and word processing.
Allahabad High Court Research Associate - Modalities for Recruitment (2024-25)
Eligibility: Only fresh law graduates from the 2023-24 academic session are eligible. Applicants must be aged between 21 and 26 as of 01.07.2024.
Prior Graduates: Law graduates who completed their degree before the 2023-24 session are not eligible.
Shortlisting: 100 candidates will be shortlisted based on merit for the Screening and Interview Tests.
Selection Process: Final selection will be based on total marks obtained, including weightage marks, Screening Test, and Interview Test.
Tests:
Screening Test: 60 marks, descriptive questions, one-hour duration. Held in Prayagraj.
Interview Test: 20 marks, conducted for shortlisted candidates. May continue the next day.
Mark Distribution:
Language, Academics & Co-curricular Activities: 20 marks
Screening Test: 60 marks
Interview: 20 marks
Language Marks: Awarded based on Hindi and English marks at Class 10 or 12 level.
Academics Marks: Based on LL.B. performance.
Co-curricular Activities Marks: Based on participation in moot courts and publications.
Final Merit List: Based on aggregate marks from weightage, Screening Test, and Interview Test.
Documents: Original Final Year Marksheet/Certificate must be presented upon joining.
Location: Screening and Interview Tests will be held in Prayagraj. Candidates should arrange their stay until 29 September 2024.
