A. Oil India Ltd Contractual Assistant Fitter:

• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of rotary and reciprocating pumps at various installations and workshops.
• Operation and maintenance of water supply pipelines, valve fittings, and maintenance of crude oil and water storage tanks.
• Heavy and light fitting of machine equipment at installations and drilling sites.
• Shift duties may be assigned across different installations, drilling sites, and workshops of Oil India Limited.

B. Oil India Ltd Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic:

• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of diesel/gas engines and fuel systems.
• Overhauling of ICE engines.
• Maintenance of air compressors.
• Shift duties may be assigned across different installations, drilling sites, and workshops of Oil India Limited.

Period of Contractual Engagement | Oil India Ltd Assistant Fitter & Assistant Diesel Mechanic Recruitment 2024

• The initial period of engagement will be 6 months, with the possibility of extension for three additional 6-month periods based on performance and departmental requirements. The total maximum period will be 24 months.

Selection Procedure | Oil India Ltd Assistant Fitter & Assistant Diesel Mechanic Recruitment 2024

• Walk-in Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment Schedule:
• Contractual Assistant Fitter: Registration on 20/08/2024 from 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.; Test on 20/08/2024 at Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.
• Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic: Registration on 22/08/2024 from 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.; Test on 22/08/2024.
• If the number of candidates exceeds capacity, tests may be carried over to the next day.
• Candidates must register between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M. on the scheduled date.
• Bring a completed Personal Bio-Data form and the following documents:
  • 1 recent 3cm x 3cm coloured photograph.
  • Original and self-attested photocopies of:
    • Valid Identity and Address Proofs.
    • Class 10 Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate.
    • Essential qualification documents, work experience certificates, caste, income, disability, or other relevant certificates.
    • No-Objection Certificate from the current employer, if applicable.
• Ensure all eligibility criteria are met before registration. Candidates without original documents will not be allowed to appear.
• The pass marks for the test will be a minimum of 50%. Selection will be based on merit from the test results.
