How to Apply - TNPSC Combined Technical Service Exam 2024

One Time Registration and Online Application: Candidates must apply online via the Commission’s website, www.tnpscexams.in. First, register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform available on the website. After registration, proceed to fill out the online application for the examination. If already registered, candidates can directly fill out the application.
- Registration Requirement: Candidates must first complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission’s website, paying a fee of Rs. 150. This registration is valid for five years from the date of registration.
- Document Preparation: During registration, candidates should prepare and upload scanned images of their photograph (20 KB – 50 KB, saved as “Photograph.jpg”) and signature (10 KB – 20 KB, saved as ‘Signature.jpg’). Both images should be of 200 DPI resolution and saved on a CD/DVD/Pen drive for upload.
- Separate Application: The One Time Registration is not an application for any post but a means to maintain a personal profile. Candidates must submit a separate online application for each examination they wish to appear for.
- Contact Information: A valid and active e-mail ID and mobile number are mandatory. Candidates should not share their email ID, password, or mobile number. If a candidate does not have a personal email ID, one should be created before applying online. Inquiries regarding OTR or online applications will be answered only through a registered e-mail ID.
- Aadhaar Linking: Linking the Aadhaar number with OTR is mandatory. The Aadhaar number will be used for identification purposes only and will not be stored or shared. Candidates must provide consent for Aadhaar linking in their OTR. This requirement applies to creating new OTR, renewing or accessing existing OTR, and applying for any future recruitments.
Application Correction Window: The Application Correction Window will be open for 3 days, from 02.10.2024 to 04.10.2024. During this period, candidates can edit their online application details. No modifications will be allowed after this window closes.
Subject Paper Options: Candidates must select the subject paper(s) in which they have the required educational qualification or equivalent qualification. This choice should be specified in the online application.
