Tamil Nadu Public Works Department, TN PWD invited applications for Apprentice posts. As many as 760 vacancies are available under the Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Non-Engineering Graduate Apprenticeships. Those who have been selected will be entitled to one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1973. Eligible candidates can apply before the final date. For Graduate Apprentice (Engineering/Technology), the aspirant must hold a degree in those engineering disciplines. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices should have a diploma in the concerned engineering streams. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices must hold a degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities, or similar disciplines. All apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 9000 for Graduate Apprentices and Rs. 8000 for Technician Apprentices. Total duration of training for all posts will be one year. Age limits will also be followed according to the Apprenticeship Rules.
