Age Criteria and Qualifications
The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) is conducting an online recruitment for 172 Sewadar and Chowkidar positions. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online. Candidates must have completed Middle Standard with Punjabi language. The recruitment aims to fill these positions in various departments with a minimum pay scale of Rs. 18,000/-.

According to Finance Department letters, the salary scale of Rs. 18,000/- is applicable. During the probationary period, only the initial salary is applicable. After successful completion of the probationary period, additional allowances as per state government guidelines will be provided. The salary details and other allowances are subject to adherence to the Punjab Salary Commission and relevant notifications.

The application fee for SC, BC, and EWS candidates is Rs. 250.
The minimum age limit is 16 years. The maximum age limit is 35 years for General Category candidates, 40 years for SC/BC residents of Punjab State, and 45 years for State and Central Government employees.
Candidates should have completed Middle Standard with proficiency in the Punjabi language.
