Terms and Conditions for POWERGRID Apprenticeship

Eligibility: Must have a full-time degree/diploma from a recognized institute, passed within two years from 09.09.2022 to 08.09.2024, and be medically fit. Ineligible if awaiting results, under 18, currently undergoing or completed apprenticeship, or have over 1 year of job experience.
Documents Required: Apprenticeship Registration Number, educational certificates, proof of age, caste certificate (if applicable), bank details, photo, and signature.
DBT and Aadhaar: Must have an Aadhaar seeded DBT-enabled bank account. Ensure details match those in the Matriculation Certificate, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Account.
Application Process: Register on NAPS/NATS, then apply on the POWERGRID website. No application fee or interview required.
Shortlisting: Based on merit and eligibility. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Document verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
Selection: Merit list based on document verification. Candidates must complete the tri-partite apprenticeship contract and medical/police verification.
Training: One-year duration, with a stipend (Rs 4000 for Diploma, Rs 4500 for Engineering). Accommodation may be provided or HRA given. Entitled to 12 days Casual Leave and 15 days Medical Leave. Must maintain performance and confidentiality.
Termination: POWERGRID reserves the right to terminate the apprenticeship for reasons including poor performance or policy violations. Not liable for injuries or losses during training.
Amendments: Terms and conditions may be amended. Changes will be communicated via email or official channels. Applicant decisions are final.
