Recruitment Notice from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, for Krishi Udyami/Agricultural Entrepreneurs (119 posts) to operate Kissan Khidmat Ghars under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme in Jammu & Kashmir. The selected candidates shall be engaged on a self-earning and entrepreneurial model that will eventually enable them to become contributors towards support services for agriculture in the region. Qualifications for the Post of Krishi Udyami/Agricultural Entrepreneur

Diploma in Agriculture & Allied Fields, Bachelor's Degree (B. Sc/BVSc), and Postgraduate Degree in Science (Agriculture & Allied). The qualification is meant to ensure that the selected candidate has ample knowledge in agriculture sciences and can efficiently manage and operate Kissan Khidmat Ghars. Eligible candidates are welcome to apply to support holistic agricultural development goals.

Procedure and Criteria for Selection of PLE

The following steps and criteria will be applied for recruiting Krishi Udyamis (KUs):

• Application Submission: The willing candidates for the above posts should apply in prescribed format only as per Annexure - A. Application forms duly completed along with relevant documents should reach the destination address before the last date notified for the receipt of the applications, as the APD/ recruitment authority will not be held responsible for any postal delay.
• Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as stated in the advertisement notification. It will, in essence, include academic qualifications, age limit, and other requirements as laid down.
• Selection Process: Selection of KUs will be done based on a point-based system as follows:

* BHT: Bachelor of Horticultural Technology, BAT: Bachelor of Agricultural Technology

** Including courses allied to agriculture

*** Certification in computer proficiency
