Eligibility and Application for NLCIL Apprenticeship

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Engineering Graduate: Degree in Engineering/Technology from a Statutory University or recognized institution.
  • Non-Engineering Graduate: Bachelor’s Degree from a Statutory University.
  • Technician (Diploma): Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized board or university.
• Other Requirements:
  • Passed qualifying exam in 2020-2024.
  • No prior/current apprenticeship or job experience over one year.
  • Must be a ward of NLCIL employees or Contract Workmen (INDCOSERVE, HOWSICOS & AMC).
  • Age limit as per Apprenticeship Act.
• Reservation of Vacancies:
  • Follow reservation guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Provide valid certificates.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be valid from 01-04-2024 to 31-03-2025.
• Instructions:
  • Include percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exams.
  • Overstatement of marks will lead to disqualification.
  • In case of tie, senior candidates (by date of birth) will be preferred.
  • Completion of training does not guarantee job placement.
• Selection Method:
  • Selection based on percentage of marks in qualifying exams.
  • Convert grades/CGPA to percentage as per university norms or using a factor of 10.
