National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL), Kolkata is offering 16 apprenticeship positions for aspiring students pursuing Actuarial studies to become Actuaries. The apprenticeship is on a contractual basis for a fixed period of two years. The vacancies are distributed among various categories, and reservations apply as per government guidelines. The program provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain practical experience while continuing their Actuarial studies.

Candidates applying for the Actuarial Apprentice post in NICL, Kolkata must have a Graduation or Post Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Additionally, they should have cleared or been exempted from at least 3 Actuarial exams conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or the UK counterpart. Age should not exceed 27 years as of 1st September 2024, with relaxations for reserved categories.
All eligible candidates will have to appear for a Personal Interview, and their selection will be based on their performance in the interview.
The qualifying marks in the Personal Interview will be determined by the Company.
Details regarding the Personal Interview will be informed to candidates through the Company’s website and/or their registered email in due course.
The final selection of candidates is subject to passing a medical examination.
Selected candidates will be posted at the Head Office in Kolkata.
