Age Limit
  1. Minimum age to be considered:
    • Unreserved (Male): 37 years
    • BC/EBC (Male & Female): 40 years
    • Unreserved (Female): 40 years
    • SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years
  2. Minimum age should be 21 years as of 01.01.2024 for all categories of candidates.

How to Apply

  1. Candidates willing to apply for the posts must fill the online Application Form on the official website bspcb.bihar.gov.in. Click on the link "Apply for the post JRF/LA" or use the link https://online.bih.nic.in/BsPcB. Follow the provided instructions before filling the application form. Register and generate a user ID and Password.
  2. Registration is mandatory for e-filling of the form. Click here to register. Generate User ID and Password to log in and fill the application form. Submit the form through your user ID and Password.
  3. Verify your entries before final submission. No modifications are allowed after final submission. An Application ID will be generated after final submission. Print a copy of the finally submitted application form for reference.
  4. Upload a recent color passport-size photograph, signature, and self-attested copies of all marksheets and certificates. Include SC/ST/EBC/BC/EWS certificates issued by competent authority along with the application form.
  5. Ensure that the details entered in the online application match those in the UGC-NET/CSIR-NET application. No hard copy applications will be accepted.
  6. Applications without supporting documents or incomplete details are liable to be rejected.
  7. Submit the online application well in advance without waiting for the last date of submission.

Selection Process

  1. The empanelment of candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow will be based on the marks obtained in UGC-NET/CSIR-NET. For the post of Junior Laboratory Assistant, the selection will be based on the marks obtained in the concerned discipline/subject of B.Sc. through computer-based short-listing. The empanelment/merit list prepared will be valid for two years from the date of publication.
  2. Verification of original documents will be conducted for the number of shortlisted candidates in each category.
  3. If a Degree is based on a semester pattern, candidates must bring the marks sheets of all semesters, including the final marks sheet of the last semester during document verification. For qualifications based on CGPA, candidates need to provide proof of CGPA to Percentage conversion formula during document verification.
  4. Candidates already employed in any organization must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' issued by their present employer during document verification.
