Candidates applying for the Trade Apprentice positions should have completed the 10th/Matric exam under the 10+2 system of education and possess an ITI qualification in the relevant trade. This requirement ensures that applicants have the necessary foundational skills and knowledge for the trade positions available.
Selection will be based on merit, with a 30% weightage given to marks in the relevant ITI trade and 70% weightage to marks in the 10th board. For trades like Mate (Mines) and Blaster (Mines), where ITI is not required, 100% weightage will be given to 10th board marks. In case of ties, older candidates will be preferred.
Candidates must be declared medically fit according to HCL's standards to be considered for engagement as Trade Apprentices. This ensures that selected candidates can perform the duties required for the role effectively.
