Step Details
1. Register on DSSSB’s portal: https://dsssbonline.nic.in
2. Apply online from 9th January, 2024, to 7th February, 2024 (till 11:59 PM).
3. Read INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE carefully.
4. Submit application through Online Mode only. No other modes accepted.
5. Opening date: 09/01/2024. Closing date: 07/02/2024 (11:59 pm).
6. Submit applications well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
7. No changes allowed after submission. Verify details before submitting.

DSSSB Recruitment - Selection Process Information

Mode of Selection
  1. Marks scored in Computer Based Examination will be normalized using the formula published by DSSSB.
  2. If any question is deemed invalid, it won't be evaluated, and marks will be prorated.
  3. Draft Answer Keys will be displayed on the DSSSB website, and candidates can submit objections online within the stipulated time.
  4. Qualifying marks set by the Board:
    - General/EWS: 40%
    - OBC (Delhi): 35%
    - SC/ST/PH (PwD): 30%
    - Ex-servicemen get 5% relaxation, but a minimum of 30% is required.
  5. DSSSB reserves the right to prescribe a minimum cut-off mark based on candidate availability.

    1. Higher marks in Section-B.
    2. If still equal, seniority in age is considered.
    3. If age is the same, alphabetical order determines merit.
  12. Final selection based on Tier-II Exam performance, preference of Posts/Departments, and eligibility as per Recruitment Rules.
  13. Once allocated a preference, no change is allowed.
  14. Vacancies reported by the User Department until shortlisting will be considered for recruitment.
  15. Reserved category candidates selected on merit won't be adjusted against reserved vacancies but against general vacancies.
  16. A person with a disability selected on merit can be appointed against an unreserved vacancy if suitable.
  17. Provisional selection does not guarantee appointment; suitability will be verified.
  18. Applicants must ensure eligibility for the desired department.
  19. Admission is provisional, subject to meeting eligibility conditions for the respective department(s).

Post Preferences: DSSSB Recruitment 2024

The examinations are for various posts, including Lower Division Clerk, Junior Assistant, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English), Lower Division Clerk-cum-typist, Jr. Stenographer, Stenographer & Asstt. Grade - I in Departments/ Local/ Autonomous Bodies of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Candidates provide detailed post preferences at the time of online calling of e-dossier. If no preference is given, the Board will allot a Department at its discretion based on eligibility as per RRs. Once confirmed, preferences are final and cannot be changed later.
