Eligible departmental candidates must apply online through official Website using their unique credentials, sent via email and SMS.
Use unique login credentials sent via mobile and email.
Attach/upload the following documents:
Scanned signature on white paper with black ink (10-50 KB, jpg/jpeg/png).
Latest passport-size photo (50-100 KB, jpg/jpeg/png).
Only online applications will be accepted for the recruitment of Driver under the LDCE quota. The application must be submitted on the official APSSB website (www.apssb.nic.in) between the opening date of 13-09-2024 and the closing date of 03-10-2024 (until 3:00 PM). Applications received through any other mode will be rejected.
Eligible candidates must have been certified as eligible by their Head of Department. The candidate should be a skilled driver who has completed at least 10 years of service in the concerned department or office and possess a Class X/ITI or equivalent pass certificate from a recognized board or institution. Candidates should be Indian citizens and meet the eligibility requirements as of the closing date for application submission, i.e., 03-10-2024.
The selection process consists of two stages: a written examination and a driving test. The written examination (Stage 1) is of objective type with multiple-choice questions covering subjects like General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Arithmetical Ability, English Language, and a Technical Paper. The driving test (Stage 2) is qualifying in nature, and candidates must pass this test by producing a valid driving license. Only candidates who qualify for Stage 1 will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for Stage 2.
During the online application process, candidates must upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photo (50-100 kb) and a signature (10-50 kb), both in jpg/jpeg/png format. Shortlisted candidates will need to submit other documents, such as matriculation certificates for proof of date of birth, APST certificate (if applicable), valid driving license, and other relevant documents during document verification.
Yes, there is a non-refundable fee of ₹150 for APST candidates and ₹200 for General candidates. The fees must be paid online. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempt from paying the fees.
