Selection Process
- Selection is based on marks obtained in GATE-2023 (out of 100).
- Eligible candidates must have appeared in GATE-2023 for Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Civil (CE), Instrumentation (IN), Electronics & Communication (EC), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), or Chemical (CH).
- Only GATE-2023 marks are valid for this recruitment. GATE marks from 2022 or earlier, or GATE-2024, are not valid.
- Candidates qualified in GATE-2023 will be considered for the next stages of selection.
- Shortlisting for Document Verification (DV) will be based on GATE-2023 marks in the order of merit at a ratio of 1:5 or more to the number of vacancies, category-wise.
- In case of a tie in GATE-2023 marks, all candidates with equal marks will be called for DV.
- DVC reserves the right to adjust the shortlisting ratio as needed.
- Being qualified in GATE-2023 does not guarantee a call for DV.
- During DV, candidates must produce their GATE-2023 Admit Card and Original Scorecard, along with other proof of identity (Aadhaar, Voter Card, PAN, Driving License, Passport).
- The identity of the candidate must be clear; unclear photos may require additional proof.
- Details of DV (Date, Time, Venue) will be available on the DVC website only; no hard copy of the Call Letters will be sent by post.
- Candidates are advised to regularly check the DVC website for updates on the recruitment process.
