Pay Scale Matrix

The pay scale for the post of Nursery Teachers (NTT) is as follows:

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800

Grade Pay: Rs. 4200

Level: 6

This pay scale has been identified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 20005/8-F&P0(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.03.2023.

Selection Procedure

  1. Step i: All candidates submitting online applications with fees will receive admit cards for the written test without checking eligibility conditions.
  2. Step ii: After the written test, the answer key will be uploaded for candidate objections.
  3. Step iii: Marks obtained in the written test will be uploaded on the website.
  4. Step iv: In case of tie in written test marks, priority will be given to candidates with higher marks in relevant education. If still tied, older candidates will rank higher.
  5. Step v: Merit list based on written test marks will be uploaded. Candidates in the list will undergo scrutiny of original documents and eligibility conditions.
  6. Step vi: Candidates called for document scrutiny will be 1.5 times the number of posts in each category.
  7. Step vii: Final merit list for selection released after checking eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates.
  8. Step viii: Provisional appointment letters issued after verification of eligibility conditions and all documents, including ICT skill training certificate.
