Job requirement: Incumbents are expected to use existing scientific and / or technical knowledge/ methods/ techniques towards solution of technical problems and assist the Scientist[s] for achieving the Institutional mandates.

1. The candidates, as recommended by the Screening Committee, will be invited for a Trade Test.
2. Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination.
3. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in the competitive written examination.

1. For these posts, there will be three papers [Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III].
2. Paper-II & III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks [to be determined by the Selection Committee] in Paper-I.
3. The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.

   4. Last date for receipt of hard copy of application by post: 20.02.2024 (1700 hours)
5. Application fee: Rs.100/-; No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR Employees/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and relevant certificates as per specified size in the online application.
7. Application once made cannot be withdrawn, and fees once paid will not be refunded.
8. Candidates must convert CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI grades to percentage and upload the conversion formula.
9. Upon successful online submission, send the print-out of the application with self-attested copies of required documents to the Director, CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee, by post.
10. No change/correction in the application form will be entertained once submitted.
11. Provide correct and active email addresses and mobile numbers for correspondence.
12. Fake/fabricated applications will face legal action. Candidates in Government/PSUs need a No Objection Certificate for the Trade Test.
13. Check the website regularly for updates. e-Admit Cards/Roll Nos. will be issued for the Trade Test/Written Examination via email.
14. Indicate if any blood/close relative is working at CBRI or other CSIR labs/institutes.
