Online applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Assistant Professor on a consolidated salary of Rs 32,000/- per month. This is a purely temporary post for a period of 11 months, created from the University Fund. The positions are available in the following areas:

• University Sub-Campus Departments
• Deen Dayal Upadhay Kaushal Kendra (DDUKK)
• Pre IAS Coaching Centre
• Santpith, Paithan

The posts are funded by grants received from the State Government. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed form and reach the undersigned on or before the specified date(s).

BAMU Assistant Professor Qualifications 2024

• Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject.
• Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009).
• NET/SLET/SET not required if not conducted for the subject.
• Online test: 80 MCQs, 90 minutes, 0.5 mark deduction for wrong answers. Interview weightage: 20%.

Pre IAS Coaching Centre

• SET/NET/Ph.D. in relevant subject, preference for UPSC/MPSC mains candidates.

Deen Dayal Upadhay Kaushal Kendra (DDUKK)

• Assistant Professor (Industrial Automation):
  • M.Sc. (Physics/Electronics) with 55% + NET/SET, or ME/M.Tech in Electronics-related fields. Ph.D. holders exempt from NET/SET.
  • Desirable: Ph.D., experience, published papers.
• Assistant Professor (Automobile):
  • ME/M.Tech in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Desirable: Ph.D., experience, published papers.

How to Apply for BAMU Assistant Professor 2024?

1. The applicant should apply online at www.bamu.ac.in. After completing the online application, take a printout and submit two sets of the hard copy along with the necessary documents, duly attested. The application should be sent in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the post of Assistant Professor on Contract Basis subject_________” to the Registrar during office hours on or before 01.07.2024.
2. Submit hard copies of the application along with necessary documents to the Registrar by 01.07.2024.
3. Candidates in service must apply through proper channel.
4. Submit an Affidavit/Undertaking regarding “Small Family” as per notification.
5. Submit caste certificate/caste validity certificate for reserved category posts.
6. Submit Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for VJ (A), NT (B, C, D), and OBC categories.
7. Ensure applications reach before the deadline; postal delays not the University's responsibility.
