Educational Qualification:

1. H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
2. Other Qualification (for candidates except Ex-Servicemen):
   • Home Guard Certificate
   • Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.

Note: Persons with an H.S.L.C. passed certificate, but without a Home Guards Training Certificate or minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate, are not eligible to apply.

Physical Standards:

1. Height (Minimum):

   • General, OBC, MOBC, SC:
     • Male – 162.56 cm
     • Female - 154.94 cm
   • ST(H)/ST(P):
     • Male - 160.02 cm
     • Female - 152.40 cm

2. Chest (Only for Male):

   • For Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC /ST(P):
     • Normal - 80 cm, Expanded - 85 cm
   • For ST(H):
     • Normal - 78 cm, Expanded - 83 cm

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizens, permanent residents of Assam.

2. Employment Exchange: Candidates must register their name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

3. Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

4. Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2024 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2006 and on or after 01.01.1984).

Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:

1. 5 (five) years in respect of Candidates belonging to SC, ST (P), and ST (H).
2. 3 (three) years in respect of Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
3. 2 (two) years additionally in respect of Candidates belonging to Ex-Servicemen category.

How to Apply:

1. Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in. No other forms of Application will be entertained.

2. Candidates must follow the following steps during the submission of the online Application:

   • Register in the Portal using a valid mobile number.

   Note: Candidates are advised to keep the mobile number unchanged until the recruitment process is over.

   • After successful registration, Candidates will get a Recruitment ID. Candidature of those Candidates who generate multiple recruitment IDs will be cancelled.

3. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of the documents mentioned in the notification.

Selection Procedure:

1. Candidates whose Applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the following tests:

   • Physical Standards Tests (PST)
   • Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)

2. If any Candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the DLSC / Selection Committee, he/she will be debarred from participating in the other tests.
