(a) Pre-requisites for Online Application

(b) Guidelines for Scanning/Uploading Documents

• UG & PG Medical Council Registration (NMC/State) (PDF format): Size should not exceed 1 MB.
• MBBS Internship Completion Certificate (PDF format): Size should not exceed 1 MB.
• MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate (PDF format): Size should not exceed 1 MB.
• Category/PwBD Certificate (if applicable) (PDF format): Size should not exceed 1 MB.
• Experience Certificate (if any) (PDF format): Size should not exceed 1 MB.

(c) Important Instructions for Uploading Photo and Signature

Ensure the uploaded photo and signature are clearly visible in the preview. If they are not, the application will be rejected.

(d) Accuracy of Information

Fill in all fields carefully. After submission, changes to the online application will not be allowed.

(e) Accessing the Online Application Portal

Visit the AIIMS Patna website to access the online application portal.

(f) Registration and Login

After registration, candidates will receive a User ID and password via email. Use these to log in and continue the form-filling process. If the User ID/Password is incorrect, click on the ‘forgot password’ link.

(g) Form Filling Process

Fill in the correct details regarding name, age, sex, caste, address, educational qualifications, and other relevant fields. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format only.

(h) Fee Payment

After correctly filling in the details, proceed to pay the application fee. A Payment Reference Number and a link to make the payment will be provided. The application will remain incomplete until the fee is paid.

(i) Online Payment of Fee

Payment can be made via Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards. Additional charges incurred during payment will be borne by the candidate. After successful payment, take a printout of the Registered Application Form for future reference.

(j) Submission of Application Form

Once the form is submitted, no changes will be allowed. Applications with fees paid by any other mode, such as Cash or Cheque, will be summarily rejected.

The decision of the Executive Director, AIIMS Patna, in this regard, shall be final and binding.

Selection Process for Senior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2024

a) Written Test

• A written test (MCQ based) will be held for selection to the advertised posts of Senior Residents.
• Total number of questions: 80, each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking.
• The written test is scheduled for 02.09.2024 at AIIMS Patna. Results will be declared the same day on the AIIMS Patna website (www.aiimspatna.edu.in).

b) Qualifying Marks

• UR: 50%
• OBC-NCL/EWS: 45%
• SC/ST: 40%

c) Personal Interview

• Successful candidates (up to three times the number of seats in each specialty) will be invited for a personal interview on 04.09.2024 and 05.09.2024.
• The interview will carry a total of 20 marks.

d) Final Selection

• Final selection will be based on the combined marks from the written test and interview.

e) Communication

• It is the candidate’s responsibility to check the institute website for exam/interview schedules. Ensure to provide phone numbers and email addresses for faster communication.

f) Eligibility

• Candidates who have completed 03 years of Senior Residency are not eligible to apply.
• Qualification/Experience will be considered as of 23.08.2024.
• The final result will be displayed on the AIIMS Patna website (www.aiimspatna.edu.in).

Method of Resolving Ties

• In case of tie (same marks), the candidate’s date of birth will be used to resolve the tie. The older candidate will be ranked higher.

Reasons for Rejection/Cancellation of Application

• Incomplete applications.
• Variation in signatures. All signatures must match in the application form and documents.
• Photograph and signature not as per specifications or unclear.
• Non-payment of examination fees or non-receipt of fee through online mode, if not exempted.
• Incorrect payment of fees.
• Under-aged or over-aged candidates.
• Failure to present original documents and self-attested copies at the time of verification.
• Not meeting the educational qualification/experience/category status as of the closing date.
• Incorrect information or misrepresentation of facts.
• Carrying mobile phones or banned items in the examination hall.
• Any other irregularities.
