Formation	1st April, 1995 (Act of Parliament, merger of National and International Airports Authority)
Responsibility	Civil aviation infrastructure creation, upgrade, maintenance, and management
Training Program	One-year Apprenticeship in RHQ, Kolkata, and various Eastern Region airports (2023-24)
Apprenticeship Governance	Apprentices Act 1961 and organization's policies/rules

Mode of Selection

Step	Description
1	Provisional selection based on percentage (%) of marks in the qualifying examination
2	Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document verification via their registered email IDs
3	Final selection based on Interview/verification of certificates and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining
4	Selected candidates will be posted preferably at the given locations in Eastern Region based on their registration location (in portal)

Register with the concerned portal (NATS/NAPS/RDAT) before applying.
No TA/DA will be provided.
Number of candidates may change without further notification.
Candidates governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961, and organization's policies/rules.
Reservation policy will be followed.
AAI has no obligation to provide regular employment; decision of management is final.
No responsibility for non-selection/non-issuance of call letter.
Candidates must get their profile verified from the respective regional board.
Applying for more than one discipline is not allowed.
No Application Fee.
Candidature provisional, subject to verification of all certificates and medical fitness.
