SSR Medical Assistant

  • Pay & Allowances: ₹14,600 stipend during training; ₹21,700 - ₹69,100 after training + ₹5,200 MSP + DA.
  • Promotion: Up to Master Chief Petty Officer-I (₹47,600 - ₹1,51,100) + ₹5,200 MSP + DA. Officer promotion opportunities available.
  • Perquisites: Free books, uniforms, food, accommodation, medical, LTC, housing benefits, education, and leave allowances. Post-retirement pension, gratuity, and leave encashment.
  • Insurance: ₹75 lakh coverage (on contribution).
  • Educational Qualification:
    • 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
    • Minimum 50% aggregate marks.
    • At least 40% marks in each subject.

  • Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant 2024 – Age Criteria:
    • Batch 02/2025: Candidates born between 01 September 2004 and 29 February 2008.

Qualification for the Post of SSR Medical Assistant

Eligibility for Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant – 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board. Minimum 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject. Appearing candidates are also eligible.


How to Fill Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Online Form 2025

The Indian Navy has released the notification for Sailor Entry SSR Medical Assistant 02/2025 & 02/2026 Batch. Interested candidates can apply online from March 29, 2025, to April 10, 2025.

Photo Instructions

  • The candidate's photo should be taken after May 2025.
  • The background of the photo should be light.
  • The candidate's name and the date of the photo must be written in capital letters on a black slate held in front of the chest.

Selection Process

Stage-I: INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)

The INET exam will be conducted for SSR(MED) 02/2025 and 02/2026 batch in May 2025. Based on the marks obtained, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage II separately for each batch.

  • Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • Bilingual (Hindi & English).

Tips for Exam Preparation

1. Understand the Exam Pattern

Familiarize yourself with the structure of the test, including the number of questions, duration, marking scheme, and subjects covered.
