Indian Airforce Benefits of Agniveer (Agnipath) - Intake 01/2026

Eligibility:
Indian youth aged between 17.5 to 21 years can apply under the Agneepath scheme.
Service Period:
The Agneepath program allows candidates to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
Life Insurance (LIC):
Agniveers will receive a life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs for the entire duration of their engagement in the Indian Air Force.
Agniveer Skill Certificate:
After completing their tenure, Agniveers will be awarded a skill-set certificate by the Indian Air Force.
Leave Policy:
- Annual Leave: 30 days
- Sick Leave: Based on medical advice

Qualification for the Indian Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026

Indian Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026 requires 50% in 10+2 (Math, Physics, English) for science or 10+2/vocational for non-science. Medical standards include 152.5 cm height and 5 cm chest expansion. After four years, candidates receive a Seva Nidhi Package and skill certificate.
