OSSC, Odisha Staff Selection Commission, has published an advertisement for inviting applications to join recruitment for Sub Inspector in Group B & C Posts/Services of various departments under the Government of Odisha. In all, 31 posts shall be recruited through this recruitment process. Eligible and interested candidates are called to apply online, followed by selection procedures. For posts of Sub Inspector in the Traffic or Excise cadre, applicants must have passed a graduate degree from an accredited university. Other physical fitness requirements include specific measures of height and weight with chest measurement, and completion of prescribed PETs, such as running and long jump. All these conditions aim at ensuring that the candidates have all the abilities to perform the tasks on hand.

(i) Failure to complete the Physical Efficiency Test in the prescribed time or attempts shall lead to disqualification from the selection process.
(ii) Candidates must provide an undertaking that they are solely responsible for any injury or harm caused during the test, and no claim shall be entertained against any person, institution, or commission.

First-time applicants must click on the "NEW USER" button to register. Upon submission of the registration form, a User ID and Password will be generated.
After selecting "New User" or "Registered User," instructions for completing the online registration/re-registration and application forms will appear on the screen. These should be read carefully before proceeding.
