CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) invites applications for 31 Scientist vacancies. Eligible candidates who are interested can apply through online mode. The fee for the application is Rs. 100/- for the general categories, and the fee will be exempted for all the reserved categories, CSIR employees, women, and ex-servicemen. The age limit to apply for the posts is 16 to 32 years as on 09-12-2024, and relaxation rules are applicable. The selected candidates will be placed on Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay scale, with total emoluments approximating Rs. 1,34,907/- per month.

A postgraduate degree in Engineering (M.E/M.Tech) or a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is required for the Scientist post at CSIR-IICT. Also, the age limit as of the last date of application is below 32 years. The age relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories is available as per government rules. The pay scale and benefits offered for the position are highly competitive, based on the 7th CPC.
