Airports Authority of India, Regional Headquarter, Northern Region invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The recruitment is for the posts of Senior Assistant (Official Language), Senior Assistant (Accounts), Senior Assistant (Electronics), and Junior Assistant (Fire Service) at various airports in the Northern Region. Physical Fitness Requirements

Eye Sight Distant Vision: 6/6 with each eye without glasses.
Near Vision: N-5 with each eye without glasses.
(Visual Evaluation is for each eye individually).
Color Vision: Should be normal as determined by Ishihara’s Charts.
Night Blindness: Absent.
Field of Vision: Each eye should have full field of vision as determined by Confrontation Test.
Refractive Error: No refractive error is acceptable.
Disqualification: Color blindness and/or night blindness will be a rejection criteria.

Minimum Height Male: Not less than 167 cms
Female: Not less than 157 cms
Chest (Male Only) Normal before expansion: 81 cms
Minimum expansion: 5 cms
Weight Male: Not less than 55 kg
Female: Not less than 45 kg
Relaxation for Hilly Area Candidates Height: Relaxation of 3 cms (both male & female).
Chest: Relaxation for male candidates only.
Weight: Proportionate relaxation allowed.
Minimum chest expansion: Must be 5 cms (for male candidates).
No other relaxation for any other category.
Disqualification Knocking knee, bow legs, degree of squint, flat footed, physical deformity, color blindness, night blindness, chronic disease, major operations impairing physical fitness for Fire Service.

Driving License Requirements

  1. Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR
  2. Valid Medium Vehicle License (at least 1 year old); OR
  3. Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) License (at least 2 years old).

Conditions:

  1. Medium/LMV license holders must obtain a Heavy Duty License within 1 year.
  2. Failure to do so extends probation by 1 year; no increments during this period.
  3. Failure beyond 2 years leads to termination.
  4. Temporary/Learning Licenses are not accepted.

2. Senior Assistant (Accounts)

  • Written Exam (CBT) - Duration: 2 hours

  • 12 weeks Ab-Initio Training + 4 weeks On-the-Job Training (OJT)
  • Stipend: ₹25,000/month during training.
  • Bond required for recovery in case of resignation.

4. Junior Assistant (Fire Service)

Stage 1

  • Written Exam (CBT) - Duration: 2 hours
Syllabus:
  • 50% questions: Subjects related to educational qualifications.
  • 50% questions: General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, General English.
Minimum Pass Marks: UR/EWS/OBC: 50% | SC/ST: 40%

Stage 2

  • Biometric Attendance, Document Verification, Physical Measurement & Medical Test.
  • Medical Test qualifiers take Driving Test (LMV/MV/HMV).
  • Only Driving Test passers move to Physical Endurance Test (PET).

Ex-Agniveers: Exempt from PET but must meet all other criteria (age, education, written test, medical, physical measurements, driving requirements, 16 weeks of basic training, etc.).
